Some practices of in-between
byFiona Woods

Some practices of in-between considers a number of current art and architectural practices that engage with the in-between as a site of production. The term in-between refers to a hybrid state that sits between disciplines, between the virtual and the spatial, the human and the non-human, the urban and the rural and so on. These practices construct situations, events and images in response to selected local conditions, producing or mobilising spaces in-between where people can identify, and sometimes act upon, points of possible transformation in their own lived realities.
