Per cent for art commission | Cork Opera House

The Board of Directors of Cork Opera House wishes to commission public artwork(s) under the Per Cent for Art scheme, funded by the Department of Education and Skills. The commission is intended to celebrate the history of Cork Opera House and the people, both on and off the stage, who have contributed to creating and sustaining this iconic Cork arts house. The commission is open to all artforms and may comprise a single piece of art from one artist or multiple pieces from a number of artists.

Artists are invited to view all potential areas in the opera house on an open day on Monday 9 December 2019, from 10am to 2pm

Budget

The budget is €6,300 to cover design, supply and installation of art works, inclusive of all associated costs including VAT.

Nazareth Housing Association provides independent living houses for individuals and couples who are 65 and over and on the Sligo County Council housing list.  Nazareth Village is comprised of 48 houses in a garden setting.  The Village was financed as a public-private partnership between Nazareth Housing Association and Sligo County Council with funding from the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government.
