Cherrywood Educate Together National School (CETNS) wishes to commission a site-specific public artwork/s under the Per Cent for Art Scheme funded by the Department of Education and Science.

Applications are invited from artist(s) /collective(s) /groups/collaborators. It is important to the school that the successful artist commit to a substantial amount of time spent collaboratively with the school community. Studio space for the project will be provided onsite to support this.

Total budget for the commission is €55,000, including all artist expenses and VAT.

Brief

This is a two-stage open competition. A fee of €500 will be paid to shortlisted artists to develop a detailed submission including a detailed proposal for a participatory process with the school community and proposed artwork, budget and timeline for the project.
