Public Art Commission | International Appalachian Trail - Ulster American Folk Park

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council in partnership with National Museums NI invites expressions of interests from suitable qualified and experienced artists and design teams to commission a piece of public art to be located at the Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh as part of the international Appalachian Trail.

Supported through the Fermanagh and Omagh Local Action Group’s Co-operation Scheme funded by the Department for Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

Budget

This is a two-stage selection process. Artists/teams selected through the expression of interest assessment will be paid a fee to prepare a full and detailed proposal. The total budget for the commission is £80k.

Nazareth Housing Association provides independent living houses for individuals and couples who are 65 and over and on the Sligo County Council housing list.  Nazareth Village is comprised of 48 houses in a garden setting.  The Village was financed as a public-private partnership between Nazareth Housing Association and Sligo County Council with funding from the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government.
