Per cent for art commission | Merlin Woods Primary School, Galway

The Board of Management of Merlin Woods Primary School wishes to commission public artwork(s) under the Per Cent for Art scheme, funded by the Department of Education and Skills.

Merlin Woods is a new and developing school located on the Doughiska Road, on the east side of Galway city. The commission is open to all artforms and it may comprise of a single piece of art from one artist or multiple pieces from a number of artists. There will be an open date for a site visit on Saturday 9 November 2019

Budget

The budget is €33,000 to cover design, supply and installation of art works, inclusive of all associated costs including VAT.

Nazareth Housing Association provides independent living houses for individuals and couples who are 65 and over and on the Sligo County Council housing list.  Nazareth Village is comprised of 48 houses in a garden setting.  The Village was financed as a public-private partnership between Nazareth Housing Association and Sligo County Council with funding from the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government.
