Per cent for art commission | Ballyhaunis Community School, Co Mayo

The Board of Management of Ballyhaunis Community School wishes to commission a public artwork under the Percent for Art Scheme, funded by the Department of Education and Skills. The school is currently nearing the completion of a major extension and refurbishment of its facilities. The current date for completion is the Spring of 2020.

The commission is open to all artforms and interest is invited from an artist or collaborative artists to fulfil this brief.

Budget

The budget is €40,000 to cover design, supply and installation of art works, inclusive of all associated costs including VAT.

Nazareth Housing Association provides independent living houses for individuals and couples who are 65 and over and on the Sligo County Council housing list.  Nazareth Village is comprised of 48 houses in a garden setting.  The Village was financed as a public-private partnership between Nazareth Housing Association and Sligo County Council with funding from the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government.
