St. Conleth and Mary’s National School and St Conleth’s Infant School invite artist(s) in all artform disciplines and practice to submit expression of interest to work on a Per Cent for Art Scheme commission for their schools.

The theme for the commission is Hear My Voice. The commission may include artist(s) in residence programmes, the commissioning of artwork (temporary and permanent) across art forms that may include digital media and collaborative work practice. Applications that consider the physical school environment (the buildings and grounds, indoor and outdoor) as well as applications that directly engage the school community are welcome. It is expected that artist(s) will have previous experience of working in educational settings.

Budget

The total budget for the commission is €51,000, including all costs.

This is a two-stage open competition. The 4 to 5 artists shortlisted for Stage 2 will receive an artist’s fee of €300 after presentation of their Stage 2 submission.
