Public art commission | N81 Glenview Roundabout, Tallaght

South Dublin County Council would like to invite proposals for a highly visible, sculptural artwork at Glenview Roundabout, Tallaght on the N81. The commission is part of a large-scale infrastructure project N81 Landscape Improvement Scheme and will be the first of three commissions in specified locations along the route.

Budget

The budget is €50,000, This includes the costs of fees to the artist, any necessary research, production/realisation, installations, insurance, documentation, maintenance file and VAT.

Brief

Nazareth Housing Association provides independent living houses for individuals and couples who are 65 and over and on the Sligo County Council housing list.  Nazareth Village is comprised of 48 houses in a garden setting.  The Village was financed as a public-private partnership between Nazareth Housing Association and Sligo County Council with funding from the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government.
