Per cent for art commission | Merlin College Galway

The Board of Management of Merlin College in Doughiska, Galway, wish to commission new artwork/s under the Per Cent for Art scheme, funded by the Department of Education and Skills. Interest is invited from individual artists and collectives working in display visual fine art.

Budget

The total budget for the project is €51,000.This is to include artist’s fees, design, supply and installation of art works inclusive of all associated costs including VAT.

This is a two-stage application process. A concept development fee of €500 will be payable to shortlisted applicants. Nazareth Housing Association provides independent living houses for individuals and couples who are 65 and over and on the Sligo County Council housing list.  Nazareth Village is comprised of 48 houses in a garden setting.  The Village was financed as a public-private partnership between Nazareth Housing Association and Sligo County Council with funding from the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government.
