Per cent for art commission | St. Peter’s National School Dunboyne

St. Peter’s National School in Dunboyne, County Meath, invites expressions of interest from artists for a permanent artwork for their new school. The artwork, a Per Cent for Art Scheme commission, is funded by the Department of Education and Science.

The commission is open to all interested professional artists at any stage of their career or experience who are interested in working on a commission that requests interior and possibly exterior permanent elements and that will allow meaningful participation with their 92 students. The school are looking for a concept that tells a story about the children, the teachers and what the school means to those who journey through it.

The total budget for the commission is €30,000, including all artist expenses and VAT.
